We recently sponsored Woodlands Primary School’s Summer Fayre in Borehamwood which was held to help raise funds for the school – and not only was it a fun day out for everyone, but the students raised a fantastic £2,500!
The kids had a huge amount of fun bouncing around on the bouncy castle, tumbling down the bouncy slide and battling in the sumo ring with their inflatable sumo costumes. Students and teachers took part in the Fayre but were also busy raising money with a range of special activities, including face painting and a special jumble sale.
We were proud to assist in advertising the Fayre online and on our specially made boards. There was also an excellent turnout for the raffle, for which we donated the main raffle prize – a brand new laptop. The raffle raised £539.
Our Borehamwood Branch Manager, James Chajet, said: “We very much enjoyed being part of the Fayre. It is a great local event. It seems like everyone had a great time, young and old, and we were very pleased to be able to donate the raffle prize to help raise money for a great school.”
